Background of the Study
Healthcare budgets are critical for providing adequate public health services, but managing these budgets can be challenging, especially with manual accounting systems. Kazaure Local Government Area could benefit from an Accounting Information System (AIS) to streamline healthcare budget management, but challenges in its implementation may hinder its effectiveness.
Statement of the Problem
Despite the potential benefits of AIS, Kazaure LGA faces challenges in implementing AIS for managing public healthcare budgets. These challenges may include resistance from staff, lack of technical skills, and inadequate infrastructure. This study will explore the specific challenges in adopting AIS for managing healthcare budgets.
Aim and Objectives of the Study
Aim: To identify the challenges faced in the implementation of Accounting Information System in managing public healthcare budgets in Kazaure Local Government Area.
